1. Personal data we collect

Depending on how you use the service, we collect:

• Your name, phone number and email address.
• Booking details, including the salon, services, stylist, date and time.
• Optional notes, booking changes, cancellations and support messages.
• Technical information, such as IP address, browser information and security or error records.
• If you book from inside LINE: your LINE user ID, and your LINE display name to pre-fill your name. We keep the LINE user ID with your bookings and remember the name and phone number you confirm for that salon. We do not keep your LINE profile picture.

2. How we collect data

We receive information when you submit a booking, manage an appointment or contact support. The website and its service providers also process technical information when pages and embedded content load. Cookies and browser storage are described below.

3. How we use your data

We use information to:

• Arrange, confirm and manage appointments.
• Send booking-related messages where notifications are enabled.
• Recover interrupted booking attempts and reduce duplicate bookings.
• Sign you in when you open booking from LINE, pre-fill your details and show your upcoming bookings.
• Answer questions and support requests.
• Protect the service, prevent misuse and investigate technical problems.
• Meet applicable legal obligations.

The applicable legal basis depends on the purpose, including providing requested services, legitimate security interests, legal obligations or consent where required. This policy is a notice, not a request for consent.

4. Third-party services

DayChosen uses:

• Cloudflare for hosting, data and image storage, security and protected staff sign-in. The production website also includes a Cloudflare performance-measurement script; whether it runs depends on configuration and browser security restrictions.
• Resend to deliver booking-related emails where enabled.
• LINE (LY Corporation) to sign you in when you open booking from LINE. Your browser connects to LINE, which processes information under its own policies.
• Google Fonts and Google Maps to display fonts and embedded location maps. Loading this content connects your browser to Google, which may process network and device information under its own policies.

These providers may process information outside Thailand. Their relevant privacy terms also describe their handling of information.

5. Cookies and browser storage

Protected staff areas use authentication cookies. Booking pages use session storage for drafts and interrupted-booking recovery. Language preferences may be saved in local storage.

Third-party content may use its own cookies or similar technologies. Your browser settings may affect storage and the operation of these features. This policy does not replace separate consent where consent is required.

6. Data sharing

We share booking information with the salon you select so it can arrange and provide your appointment. Relevant service providers process information to support the functions described above. Information may also be disclosed where required by law.

7. DayChosen and your salon

DayChosen provides the booking platform. The salon you book with uses your booking details to manage appointments and provide its services. Privacy requests may require coordination between DayChosen and the salon.

8. Data retention

Retention depends on the type of information and its purpose. Booking records, contact details and related messages support appointment management, customer enquiries and disputes. Technical and security records support troubleshooting and protection of the service. Legal obligations and unresolved requests or disputes may require longer retention.

This notice does not promise a fixed deletion deadline or automatic deletion. To ask about information held about you or request deletion, contact support@daychosen.com. Requests are assessed with the relevant salon and are subject to applicable retention requirements.

9. Your rights

Depending on applicable law, you may request access to, correction or deletion of your information, object to or restrict certain processing, request portability, or withdraw consent where processing relies on it.

We may need to verify your identity and coordinate with the relevant salon. Requests are subject to applicable legal requirements and exceptions, including any obligation to retain particular records.
